My sister surprised me with this camera for my birthday and it forever changed my direction of photography and launched me right back into film. It was love a first sight, and I knew I would be photographing medium format in no time at all. Manufactured in Germany between 1954-1957, this little time capsule produces some of the sharpest detail I have yet to experience for a camera of this vintage. Of course it would perform this well as it came from the same manufacturers as the highly acclaimed Rolleiflex, Franke & Heidecke Company. You might notice in the photo that the previous owner, for what reason unbeknownst, scratched out the serial number. I decided to feature it here anyway as I'm so proud of my battle-axe, field warrior of a camera that has accompanied on many adventures so far.
